Justin Timberlake postpones Boston show
Justin Timberlake has delayed the start of his “20/20 Experience” world tour, postponing his scheduled show at Boston’s TD Garden on Monday, November 4 to Saturday, July 19.
Along with the Boston show, according to a press release, Timberlake’s two scheduled performances in Montreal have been rescheduled “as rehearsals for the tour have been extended in order to accommodate a delay of the massive one-of-a-kind stage production”.
Tickets for the original date will be honored at the new date next summer and refunds if required are available at the point of purchase.
Timberlake’s recently announced show for the TD Garden on Thursday, February 27 will go on as as scheduled. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49.50 to $175, are available through Ticketmaster.
Earlier this month, Timberlake released The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2. The new album, which was recorded at the same time as its predecessor The 20/20 Experience, features singles “Take Back the Night” and “TKO” (streaming below). It also includes collaborations with Jay Z on “Murder” and Drake on “Cabaret”.
After focusing on his acting career in recent years, Timberlake released his comeback album The 20/20 Experience in March. The former ‘N Sync singer’s third studio effort and first since 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Executive produced by Timberlake with assistance from Timbaland and Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon, the album features hit singles “Suit & Tie” (with Jay Z), “Mirrors” and “Tunnel Vision”.
