Justin Timberlake adds 2014 Boston show
After a wildly successful comeback this year, Justin Timberlake will remain focused on music in 2014. The pop superstar has announced plans to return to the road in January for tour that will hit Boston’s TD Garden on Thursday, February 27. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49.50 to $175, will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
The 2014 date in Boston will be Timberlake’s second at the home of the Bruins and Celtics in the span of just four months. As previously reported, he’ll perform bring the “The 20/20 Experience” world tour to the TD Garden on Monday, November 4.
On Tuesday, Timberlake will release The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2. The new album, which will also be available as a 4-LP set, was recorded at the same time as its predecessor, The 20/20 Experience. It features singles “Take Back the Night” and “TKO” (streaming below), as well as collaborations with Jay Z on “Murder” and Drake on “Cabaret”.
After focusing on his acting career in recent years, Timberlake released his comeback album The 20/20 Experience in March. The former ‘N Sync singer’s third studio effort and first since 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Executive produced by Timberlake with assistance from Timbaland and Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon, the album features hit singles “Suit & Tie” (with Jay Z), “Mirrors” and “Tunnel Vision”.
