Journey have revealed plans for a special tour with special guests Pat Benatar and Loverboy. The 80’s favorites will make their way to Rhode Island for a performance at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence on Saturday, September 29. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $34.50 to $84.50, will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster.

The tour continues Journey’s promotion of their latest album, 2011’s Eclipse. The album, Journey’s fourteenth studio effort and second with Filipino frontman Arnel Pineda (the band’s sixth lead singer), debuted at #13 on Billboard 200. The video for “City of Hope”, which was written in Manila, Philippines and inspired by what the band saw while visiting Pineda’s homeland, is streaming below.

Benatar, who will be joined on stage by husband and guitarist Neil Giraldo, is expected to deliver a set of greatest hits. Her last studio release was 2003’s Go.

Fans can expect the same from Loverboy, who last released an album of all new material in 2007 with Just Getting Started.
