Joshua Radin maps tour with A Fine Frenzy
Joshua Radin has revealed plans for a fall tour in support of his brand new album, Underwater. The singer-songwriter will make his way to Massachusetts with special guest A Fine Frenzy for a performance at the Orpheum Theatre in Boston on Saturday, November 3. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $39.50, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
Released earlier this week, Underwater marks Radin’s fourth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s The Rock and The Tide. Produced by Kevin Augunas (Cold War Kids, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros), the album was recorded on analog tape at the storied Studio City studios in California. Radin, who wrote or co-wrote all 12 tracks on the album, is joined by a handful of guest performers including Benmont Tench (Tom Petty), Jim Keltner (George Harrison, John Lennon, Herbie Hancock), Roger Joseph Manning Jr. (Fiona Apple, Beck) and string arranger Jimmy Haskell. Fans can download the title track for free through Radin’s Facebook page.

The singer’s third full-length studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s Bomb in a Birdcage, will be released on October 9. Pines will be further realized in a companion book and short animated film.
