John Legend has revealed plans to hit the road this fall to preview material off his forthcoming album, Love in the Future. The nine-time Grammy Award winner will make his way to Massachusetts for a performance at Boston’s Citi Wang Theatre on Tuesday, October 30. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $36 to $86, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the venue’s box office and website. British singer Lianne La Havas will open the show.

“I’m thrilled to be back on the road,” said Legend in a press release. “I look forward to seeing my fans across the country and sharing a beautiful night with them.”

Love in the Future, Legend’s fourth full-length studio effort follows 2008’s Evolver. No official release date has been announced. The album was co-executive produced by Kanye West, Dave Tozer and Legend, the same team that produced Legend’s 2004 debut album Get Lifted.

Prior to the show in Boston, Legend will perform at the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Friday, October 26.

Earlier this summer, Legend released a new chart-topping hit called  “Tonight (Best You’ve Ever Had)” featuring Ludacris for the soundtrack of Steve Harvey’s film, “Think Like a Man”. He also started as a judge on ABC’s new music show “Duets”.
