John Legend announces ‘Made to Love’ tour

John Legend has revealed plans for a fall tour in support of his highly anticipated forthcoming album, Love in the Future. The R&B and soul singer-songwriter will make his way to Massachusetts for a performance at Boston’s Citi Wang Theatre on Tuesday, October 22. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $36 to $86, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the venue’s box office and website. A variety of VIP packages will also be available. R&B songstress Tamar Braxton will open the show.

Love in the Future, Legend’s fourth studio effort and follow-up to 2008’s Evolver, is scheduled to be released on September 3. The album, executive produced by Legend, Kanye West and Dave Tozer, features guest appearances from Rick Ross, Stacy Barthe and Seal. Fans can get a taste of Love in the Future with its first two singles, “Who Do We Think We Are” (video is streaming below) and “Made to Love”.

Prior to the show in Massachusetts, Legend will kick off the North American tour with a performance at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connetcicut on Sunday, October 20. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $45 to $65, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
