John Hiatt has revealed plans to return to the road this summer for a nationwide tour in support of his latest album, Mystic Pinball. Joined by his longtime band The Combo, Hiatt will perform several shows in New England. He’ll hit Massachusetts for a performance at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston on Thursday, August 15. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $42.50 to $65, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Mystic Pinball, Hiatt’s 21st studio album and follow-up to 2011’s Dirty Jeans and Mudslide Hymns was released last September. Produced by Kevin “Caveman” Shirley (Aerosmith, Joe Bonamassa), Hiatt is accompanied by Doug Lancio (electric guitar, mandolin, Dobro), Kenneth Blevins (drums and percussion) and Patrick O’Hearn (bass). Lead single “We’re Alright Now” is streaming below.

Prior to the show in Boston, John Hiatt and The Combo will perform at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on Wednesday, August 14. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $20 to $40, are available through Ticketmaster. The band will also perform in Connecticut (Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield on August 9) and Maine (Stone Mountain Arts Center in Brownfield on August 11 and Strand Theatre in Rockland on August 13).
