John Fogerty has started mapping a fall tour in support of his brand new album Wrote a Song For Everyone. The Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman will stop in Connecticut for his only scheduled stop in New England when he performs at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Saturday, November 9. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49.50 to $75, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Wrote a Song For Everyone, Fogerty’s ninth studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again, debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 after its release last month. The album is a collection of classics and deep tracks from his legendary songbook, re-recorded with an array of special guests, including Foo Fighters, Keith Urban, Bob Seger, My Morning Jacket, Miranda Lambert, Tom Morello, Brad Paisley, Kid Rock, Dawes and more. It also features two new songs, “Mystic Highway” (video streaming below) and “Train of Fools”.

“I encouraged each of these artists to come up with their own vision of my song, rather than just redoing what I’d recorded in the past,” explained Fogerty in an interview with American Songwriter earlier this year. “I was hoping they’d have some different twist so it would be fresh, so I’d have to work, too. I wanted it to be something new.”
