John Butler Trio have announced plans for a summer tour in support of their brand new album, Flesh & Blood. Following a tour of Europe, the Australian rockers will embark on a tour of North America that stops in Boston for a night at the Blue Hills Bank Pavilion on Saturday, June 21. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $39.50, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Opening the show will be special guest Allen Stone.

Flesh & Blood, John Butler Trio’s sixth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s April Uprising, was released earlier this month. The album was recorded over just 20 days at The Compound, Butler’s studio in Fremantle, Australia. The video for lead single “Only One” is streaming below.

“There’s something really exciting about that moment when you’re writing a song and it’s flowing and you stand back and look at it and hear it and feel like it explains things that you’ve been trying to explain all your life, or it expresses something that feels universal,” said Butler of recording Flesh & Blood in a press release.

Stone recently released a brand new single called “Million” from his forthcoming album, which follows his 2011 self-titled album.
