Guitar virtuoso Joe Bonamassa has announced plans for an autumn tour in support of his new album, Dust Bowl. The blues rock veteran will perform with his ace band at the Citi Wang Theatre in Boston on Thursday, November 3. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49 to $89, are now on sale through Telecharge.

Released in March, Dust Bowl was produced by Kevin Shirley (Journey, Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden) and features special guests John Hiatt, Vince Gill and Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple. It debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Blues Albums chart, his seventh consecutive album to debut at #1.  Fans can download the album’s title track for free through Bonamassa’s website.

On the tour, fans might also get a chance to hear Bonamassa preview material off his forthcoming 13th studio release. No release date has been set for the unnamed album, but Bonamassa began working again in the studio with Shirley last month.

Bonamassa will be touring with his regular supporting band, featuring bassist Carmine Rojas, keyboardist Rick Melick and drummer Tal Bergman.

In addition to his solo career, Bonamassa has also been recording and touring with rock supergroup Black Country Communion, which is comprised of Bonamassa, Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian. The group released their second album, 2, in June.
