Jimmy Eat World to play the House of Blues

Jimmy Eat World have revealed plans for a fall tour in support of their forthcoming album, Invented. The band will make their way to Massachusetts on Friday, October 15 for a show at the House of Blues in Boston. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $30 and $40. Fellow Phoenix resident Courtney Marie Andrews, who sings backing vocals on several tracks on Invented will be joining the band on tour.

Set to hit stores on September 28, Invented is the band’s seventh studio effort and first since 2007’s Chase This Light. The album reunites the band with producer Mark Trombino who worked with the band on their albums Bleed American (2001), Clarity (1999) and Static Prevails (1996). The first single off the album will be “My Best Theory”.
