Jimmy Eat World to celebrate Futures with tour

Jimmy Eat World has announced a fall tour to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of their acclaimed album, Futures. The veteran rockers will stop in Rhode Island for a performance at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on Saturday, October 18. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through eTix for $25 and $35.

On the upcoming tour, Jimmy Eat World will perform Futures in its entirety from start to finish. Released in October of 2004, the band’s fifth studio effort was produced by Gil Norton and featured hit singles “Pain”, “Work” and “Futures”.

Along with the tour, Jimmy Eat World have announced plans to reissue three albums on double LP via Universal Music Enterprises in partnership with SRCvinyl. Static Prevails will be released on August 19, Clarity on September 2 and Futures on September 30. Remastered from the highest quality 16-bit/44.1 khz recording and cut as 33 1/3 RPM, each LP will contain bonus song(s).

Jimmy Eat World’s last offering of all new material was 2013’s Damage.
