Jimmy Buffett has announced plans for a very special performance in Boston next week to benefit The One Fund. Joined by the Coral Reefer Band, the king of Margaritaville will perform at the Paradise Rock Club on Thursday, June 20. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster for $99, with all net proceeds benefiting The One Fund, which was set up by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Thomas Menino to help the people most affected by the tragic events that occurred in Boston on April 15. There will be a two ticket limit per customer.

Just last month, Buffett performed at the star-studded “Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration” benefit concert at the TD Garden.

“We at The One Fund are most appreciative of Jimmy Buffett for his participation in the Boston Strong concert,” said Jack Connors, a Director of The One Fund, in a press release. “For Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band to follow up with this very special performance at the Paradise Rock Club which will also result in a significant donation is absolutely extraordinary. On behalf of the survivors and responders and all who will receive the financial support that The One Fund will provide, we thank Jimmy Buffett.”

Buffett’s performance at the Paradise will take place on the eve of his annual summer concert at the Comcast Center in Mansfield. He is also gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album, tentatively titled Songs from St. Somewhere and expected to be released in July.
