Jimmy Buffett reveals summer tour plans

Summer is just around the corner and with it, time for another tour from perrenial summertime favorite Jimmy Buffet. Joined by the Coral Reefer Band, the king of Margaritaville will return to Massachusetts for a show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Saturday, June 22. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $36 and $136.

Buffett will be going back into the studio soon to record a new album, tentatively titled Songs from St Somewhere. Last summer, he released a new live CD/DVD called Welcome To Fin City, which was recorded at two Las Vegas concerts. Both the CD/DVD and the Blu-Ray/CD contain 14 songs and 15 videos which includes the previously unreleased bonus video of “Elvis Presley Blues.” Also now available on iTunes is a live video of Jimmy Buffett and Lionel Richie singing the hit “All Night Long” which was recorded in 2012 at Comerica Park in Detroit.

The veteran singer-songwriter’s last offering of all new material was 2009’s Buffet Hotel.
