Jennifer Hudson to play the Pavilion in Boston

Jennifer Hudson has revealed plans for a tour that will swing through Massachusetts this summer. The Grammy-Award and Oscar-Award wining singer and actress will bring her “I Remember Me” tour to Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion on Friday, July 8. Tickets for the the show, which range in price from $20.25 to $64.75, will ho on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Miguel has been tapped to open the show.

Hudson will be touring in support of her brand new album, I Remember Me. Released last month, her second album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. The album follows her 2008 self-titled debut release, which won a Grammy in 2009 for Best R&B Album. Check out the video for I Remember Me’s lead single “Where You At” below. Hudson teamed up with a impressive list of producers and songwriters for the album, including Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz, Ne-Yo, Harvey Mason, Jr., Rich Harrison, Ryan Tedder, Diane Warren and Ronnie Dunn.
