After selling out two shows at Boston’s Fenway Park next summer, Jason Aldean has revealed plans for the start of his 2013 tour. The country superstar will hit the pavement in February and make his way to Connecticut for a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Thursday, February 28. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Jake Owen and Thomas Rhett, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $75 and $95.

Aldean will be touring in support of his brand new album, Night Train. The Georgia native’s fifth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s My Kinda Party debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 after its release in October. It has been powered by lead single “Take A Little Ride”. Produced by Michael Knox, it also features a collaboration with Luke Bryan and Eric Church on “The Only Way I Know”.

“The thing I’m most excited about for next year is getting to add some new songs off the Night Train album into my show,” declared Aldean in a press release. “As a musician, it’s great to be able to shake up the set list and think of cool ways to present these new songs in the live show. We’re already working on some cool production ideas and we’re going to come back from the holidays ready to go.”
