James Taylor has announced plans for a fall tour that will include a stop in New England. The legendary singer-songwriter and Massachusetts resident will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Thursday, December 4. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $75 and $115.

With no new album to promote, fans can expect Taylor and his All-Star Band to deliver a set packed with greatest hits and fan favorites. However, he has been working on a new album and has even previewed some of the new material at recent concerts. Though no official announcement regarding a new album has been made, it is expected to be released in early 2015. His last studio release was 2008’s Covers, while his last offering of all new material was 2004’s October Road.

Taylor had planned on performing at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island on December 2 but has since cancelled that performance due to “unforeseen circumstances”. The show will be replaced at a later date, though no further details have been announced.
