Interpol to play the House of Blues

Interpol have revealed plans for a winter tour that will bring them to Massachusetts in the new year. The band will close out their nationwide tour by playing Boston’s House of Blues on Saturday, February 19. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $30 and $40. School of Seven Bells will open the show.

The New York City-based indie rockers are returning to the road to promote their new self-titled studio album. Released in September, the album is the band’s fourth studio effort. The band self-produced and recorded the album in their hometown of New York. Interpol follows 2007’s Our Love to Admire.

Interpol is comprised of Paul Banks (vocals, guitar), Daniel Kessler (guitar, vocals) and Sam Fogarino (drums). In the wake of bassist Carlos D’s departure from the band following the completion of the new album, Interpol have augmented their touring lineup to included David Pajo (Slint, Papa M, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) on bass and Secret Machines’ Brandon Curtis on keyboards.
