Heart have announced plans for a special summer tour with Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience. The 2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will bring their “Heartbreaker” tour to New England for a pair of shows, including a stop at the Comcast Center on Friday, June 28. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $26 to $76, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

Ann and Nancy Wilson first met Jason Bonham, son of famed Led Zeppelin drummer, John Bonham, when they performed “Stairway to Heaven” together at the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Led Zeppelin in December of 2012. On the summer tour, Heart and Bonham will close each show with a special thirty-minute finale tribute to Led Zeppelin.

“Nancy and I and the rest of Heart are thrilled to be playing with Jason and his band this summer,” declared Ann Wilson in a press release. “Awesome rock n roll music everynight…miracles apt to happen any old time.” Nancy added, “It’s not a tribute as we have the blessings of the gods themselves.”

“What a great night it was for us at the Kennedy Center awards, and now to be able to do it again on the road with Ann and Nancy is such an honor for me,” said Bonham. “I am really looking forward to taking my Led Zep Experience show out this summer with Heart and to join them in a Zep-a-thon closing the show as well. Just fantastic!”

Following the show in Massachusetts, Heart and Bonham will perform at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Thursday, July 4. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $36.

In December, it was announced that the Heart would be a member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s 2013 Induction class. The induction ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on April 18 and broadcast on HBO on May 18. Across four decades and fourteen studio albums, Heart has sold more than 35 million records and produced 21 top 40 hits.

Their most recent release was 2012’s Fanatic. Released in October, the duo’s follow-up to 2010’s Red Velvet Car was recorded in hotel rooms and studios up and down the West Coast with acclaimed producer Ben Mink. Sarah McLachlan contributes vocals to “Walkin’ Good”.

Last September, Ann and Nancy Wilson released their memoir Kicking and Dreaming: A Story of Heart, Soul and Rock and Roll.

Bonham, who played with the surviving members of Led Zeppelin at the band’s London O2 Arena reunion show in 2007, started the Led Zeppelin Experience tour in 2010. Inspired by “Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles”, he joined forces with Annerin Productions, the acclaimed producers of both Rain and “The Pink Floyd Experience”, to create the show. In the show, Bonham leads his band through Led Zeppelin classics, shares home videos and special archived footage of the band and between songs, tells stories of growing up as the son of the legendary drummer.
