With their highly anticipated sophomore album set for release next month, Grouplove have revealed plans for a special fall tour. The Los Angeles-based rockers will embark on a month-long trek of eleven cities, with plans for two distinct shows in each city as part of the “Seesaw” tour. In Massachusetts, the band will deliver their standard full rock show at Boston’s Royale on Sunday, September 22. The following night, they’ll unplug for a rare acoustic performance at the Center for Arts at the Armory in Somerville. Tickets for each of the shows, which will also feature openers The Rubens, will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster for $20.

Spreading Rumours, Grouplove’s second studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Never Trust a Happy Song, will be released on September 17. Fans can get a taste the new album, which was produced by the band’s own Ryan Rabin, with lead single “Ways To Go” (video is streaming below). Never Trust a Happy Song propelled Grouplove to national success thanks to smash hits “Tongue Tied” and “Itchin’ on a Photograph”.

Grouplove is comprised of Christian Zucconi (vocals, guitar), Hannah Hooper (vocals, keys), Sean Gadd (bass, vocals), Andrew Wessen (guitar, vocals) and Rabin (drums).
