Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh and Bob Weir are embarking on another musical adventure together. This time, the two are fronting a new band called Furthur. After debuting earlier this week, the band have revealed plans an upcoming winter tour that will stop in New England for a pair of shows. Furthur will make stops in Amherst, Massachusetts, Manchester, New Hampshire and Uncasville, Connecticut.

Fans can expect Lesh and Weir to “furthur” explore some of the Grateful Dead’s most beloved songs with help from an all star band featuring keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and percussionist Jay Lane (RatDog), drummer Joe Russo (Benevento – Russo Duo, Trey Anastasio), and guitarist John Kadlecik (Dark Star Orchestra).

Furthur will play the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire on Thursday, February 18. The following night, the band will hit Amherst, Massachusetts for a show at the Mullins Center. Tickets for both shows, which range in price from $39.50 to $49.50, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Furthur will make their way to the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday, February 26. Tickets for that show are $45 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
