After delivering two sold-out shows at Boston’s House of Blues last month, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals have revealed plans for a return visit to New England. The Vermont-based rockers will hit Rhode Island for a show at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on Friday, February 8. Tickets for the show are now on sale through eTix for $30 and $37.50.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals continue to tour in support of their latest album, 2012’s The Lion The Beast The Beat. Released in June, the band’s fourth studio effort and follow-up to their 2010 self-titled release debuted at #17 on the Billboard 200. The album was produced by Potter and veteran producer Jim Scott (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Wilco). Adding to the firepower of the project is The Black Key’s Dan Auerbach, who produced and co-wrote the track “Loneliest Soul” and also produced and co-wrote the band’s first single “Never Go Back” and “Runaway”, both of which were co-produced by Scott. David Campbell (Beck, My Morning Jacket) arranged and conducted the strings on the album. The LP was mixed by fellow Vermonter and Grammy award winner Rich Costey (Foo Fighters, TV on the Radio).
