Gotye has revealed plans for his biggest North American tour to date. The Aussie responsible for Billboard’s #1 song, “Somebody That I Used to Know”, will perform at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion on Saturday, September 22. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $34.50 and $40. Also on the bill will be special guest Missy Higgins and opener Jonti.

While still tour in support of his latest album, 2011’s Making Mirrors, fans can also expect to hear material off Gotye’s 2006 album Like Drawing Blood. The Melbourne native will release the album to fans in the United States for the first time on CD and vinyl this July. The album, which is available digitally now, has been a cult favorite and was named iTunes “Album of the Year” for 2008 in the United Kingdom.

Of course, Gotye is still riding the success of “Somebody That I Used to Know” and will release a digital compilation of ten remixes of the hit song through iTunes on Friday. The compilation features a collection of Gotye’s personal remix favorites including those by Tiesto, AdRock, 4FRNT, Gang Colours, M-Phazes and more.

Higgins, a fellow Aussie, will serve as special guest as she promotes her forthcoming album, The Ol’ Razzle Dazzle. The singer-songwriter’s third studio effort will be released in July 17. Recorded in Nashville, and produced by Brad Jones (Jill Sobule, Matthew Sweet) and Butterfly Boucher (David Bowie, Sarah McLachlan), the album features lead single “Unashamed Desire”.
