Girl Talk adds Massachusetts show to fall tour

Girl Talk has added a stop in Massachusetts to his ongoing fall itinerary with a stop scheduled for UMass Lowell at the end of the month. The electornic favorite known for his incredible mashups and sampling will perform at the college’s Recreation Center (100 Pawtucket Street) on Friday, September 30. The show is open to the public and tickets are available through the Tsongas Center website for $20.

Fans can now download Girl Talk’s latest album, 2010’s All Day, for free through his Illegal Art label’s website. The album, his fifth, clocks in at 71 minutes and includes over 373 samples. All Day follows his previously acclaimed albums, 2008’s Feed the Animals and 2006’s Night Ripper.

Girl Talk will also perform at the Ryan Center on the campus of the University of Rhode Island on Tuesday, October 25. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $30 to $40 for the general public, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
