Frightened Rabbit will return for another stateside tour this fall. The Scottish Indie rockers  will make their way back to Boston for a show the Paradise Rock Club on Friday, October 29. Tickets for the 18+ show are now on sale through Live Nation for $22.50. Plants & Animals and The Phantom Band will open the show.

The band continues to tour in support of the new album, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, which was released in March.. The group’s third studio effort follows their critically acclaimed 2008 sophomore release, The Midnight Organ Fight. The Winter of Mixed Drinks was produced by Connecticut native Peter Katis (The National, The Swell Season) at Tarquin Studios in Connecticut along with additional help from Stuart Hamilton at Castlesound Studios in Scotland.

Powered by its first single, “Swim Until You Can’t See Land”, the band describes their new album as having a more positive feel than their previous material, which emphasized struggles concerning life, liberation, and spirituality. “The album is both happy and content,” frontman Scott Hutchison said in a recent interview with Ibiza Rocks. “Seeing as I do most of the song writing, I was happier and content and I think it has to be reflected in the music that I write so it’s naturally that way.”
