After a rousing success to the start of their highly anticipated reunion tour, Fleetwood Mac have extended their tour plans into the new year. The legendary classic rockers will return to New England in 2015 for concerts in Rhode Island and Connecticut. The “On With The Show” tour marks the return of vocalist/keyboardist Christine McVie after a sixteen year absence.

Fleetwood Mac will hit Rhode Island for a performance at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence on Wednesday, January 28. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $49.50 to $179.50, will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. The band will make their way to Connecticut for a performance at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville on Saturday, February 7. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $125 and $195.

Christine McVie has not toured with Fleetwood Mac bandmates Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks since 1998’s “The Dance” tour. During the band’s tour last year, the vocalist/keyboardist joined the group on stage during their show at London’s O2 Arena to perform their classic “Don’t Stop”.

“It was so comfortable being back onstage with them, as if no time had passed, and then we all started talking and it feels like the time is right. I’m really happy,” she said in a press release when the tour was first announced. “As far as we’re concerned, she’s never really left. We are overjoyed to have Christine back on stage with us,” added the other members of Fleetwood Mac in a joint statement.

Fleetwood Mac’s last offering of all new material was 2003’s Say You Will, which was their first since 1970’s Kiln House to not include tracks written by Christine McVie.

After rocking the TD Garden earlier this month, Fleetwood Mac will return to Boston for another performance at the home of the Bruins and Celtics on Saturday, October 25. They will also perform at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut on Saturday, November 1.
