Fleet Foxes will return to Massachusetts next month as they continue to tour in support of their new album, Helplessness Blues. The Seattle-based indie rockers will perform at Mountain Park in Holyoke on Sunday, September 25. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers The Walkmen, are now on sale through NBOTickets for $32.50.

Helplessness Blues, the band’s sophomore release and follow up to their 2008 self-titled debut, debuted #4 on the Billboard 200 after its release in May. It also reached #2 on the Top Rock Albums and #1 on the Top Indenpende Albums charts. Recorded over the course of a year, the new album was co-produced by Fleet Foxes and Phil Ek.

Led by vocalist/guitarist Robin Pecknold, Fleet Foxes are comprised of Skyler Skjelset (lead guitar, mandolin), Christian Wargo (bass, guitar, vocals), Casey Wescott (keyboards, vocals), Josh Tillman (drums, vocals) and brand new member Morgan Henderson (multi-instrumentalist).

The band was last in Massachusetts in May, when they performed an impressive sold out show at the Oprheum Theatre
