After opening for Bruno Mars at the TD Garden and headlining a sold out show at the Paradise Rock Club earlier this summer, Fitz and the Tantrums have revealed plans for a return visit to Boston this fall. The neo-soul/indie pop rockers will bring “The Bright Futures” tour to the Hub for a night at the House of Blues on Monday, October 28. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Capital Cities, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $27.50 and $45.

The upcoming tour continues Fitz and the Tantrums support of their sophomore album, More Than Just A Dream. The follow-up to 2010’s Pickin’ Up the Pieces was released in May. Produced by Tony Hoffer (Beck, Phoenix), the album was recorded at The Sound Factory in the band’s hometown of Los Angeles. The video for More Than Just A Dream‘s lead single “Out Of My League” is streaming below.

“The only rule in making this record was that there were no rules,” explained frontman Fitz in a press release. “Nobody was allowed to say, ‘We can’t do that.’ We didn’t limit ourselves.”

Fitz and The Tantrums is comprised of Fitz (vocals), Noelle Scaggs (vocals/tambourine), James King (saxophone), Jeremy Ruzumna (keyboards), John Wicks (drums) and Joseph Karnes (bass).
