Indian Ranch reveals first set of summer concerts

Snow is dominating the forecast but the summer months are just around the corner. Organizers for the concert season at Indian Ranch have revealed the first set of performers scheduled to perform in Webster. Celebrating its 68th season, Indian Ranch will welcome George Thorogood and the Destroyer, Scotty McCreery, The Mavericks, The Beach Boys, Bret Michaels and The Charlie Daniels Band to the intimate amphitheater nestled between pine trees along scenic Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg.

George Thorogood and the Destroyers will take the stage at Indian Ranch on Sunday, June 22. The classic rocker’s last studio release was 2011’s 2120 South Michigan Avenue, which features covers of blues legends Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Howlin’ Wolf, Buddy Guy and more, along with a pair of originals. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $45 to $57.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The “Happy Together” tour featuring favorites from the 1960’s will include a performance at Indian Ranch on Sunday, July 27. Flo & Eddie, Chuck Negron formerly of Three Dog Night, Mark Farner formerly of Grand Funk Railroad, Mitch Ryder & The Detroit Wheels and Gary Lewis & The Playboys are scheduled to perform. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $35 to $47.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Scotty McCreery, who sold out Indian Ranch the past two years, will return to Webster for a performance on Saturday, August 2. The American Idol Season 10 winner is touring in support of his new album, See You Tonight. Released in October, the singer’s second studio effort and follow-up to his 2011 debut Clear as Day, debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200. Produced by Frank Rogers (Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker), its title track also serves as the lead single. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $35 to $47.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

After serving up one of last year’s highlights, The Mavericks will return to Indian Ranch for a performance on Saturday, August 9. The country stars, who reunited in 2012 after a 8-year hiatus, continue to promote 2013’s In Time. Released last February, the band’s seventh studio album and first in almost a decade was produced by lead singer Raul Malo and Niko Bolas (Neil Young, Warren Zevon). It features singles “Born To Be Blue” and “Back In Your Arms Again”.  Tickets for the show, which range in price from $32 to $44.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The Beach Boys’ perennial summer tour includes a stop in Webster on Sunday, August 17. The Mike Love-led edition of the legendary group has always been a summertime favorite and will deliver set packed with greatest hits and fan favorites. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $42 to $54.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Bret Michaels will rock Indian Ranch on Saturday, September 13. The Poison frontman continues to promote his latest solo album, Jammin’ with Friends. Released in June, the album is comprised of newly re-recorded songs from the Poison and Michaels catalogue, along with a few covers. He’s joined by a plethora of special guests including Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Buffett, Ace Frehley, Lil Jon, Joe Perry and more. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $37 to $44.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The Charlie Daniels Band, perennial favorites at Indian Ranch, will return to Webster for a performance on Sunday, September 14. The country legend continues to tour in support of his latest album, Hits of the South. Released February, the album includes covers of southern rock favorites like “Freebird” and “Can’t You See”, as well as re-recordings of old CDB favorites with special guests including “The South’s Gonna Do it Again” with Vince Gill and “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” with Travis Tritt. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $36 to $48.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

Each of the concerts will begin at 2 p.m. More shows will be added to the Indian Ranch summer concert lineup over the next few months. The venue will provide a $5 discount on general admission tickets up until two weeks prior to the show. Discounted children’s tickets are also available for all concerts.
