With a new album on the way and an intimate sold out club and theater tour set for this spring, Fall Out Boy have revealed plans for a more expansive outing later this year. The reunited pop-punk rockers, who will deliver a sold out show at Boston’s House of Blues next month, will return to Massachusetts for a performance at the Tsongas Center in Lowell on Friday, September 6. Tickets for the show, which will be all general admission, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the venue’s box office and website for $39.50.

Save Rock and Roll, Fall Out Boy’s seventh studio album and first since 2008’s Folie a Deux, will hit stores on April 15 (it was originally scheduled for release on May 6). Produced by Butch Walker, it features guest appearances from Elton John, Courtney Love, Big Sean and Foxes. Fans can get a taste of the new material with singles “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)” and “The Phoenix”.

The tour will kick off at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Thursday, September 5. Tickets for the show will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $39.
