Following her first sold out tour of the United States earlier this spring, Ellie Goulding has revealed plans to cross the pond for another tour of North America this summer. The British singer-songwriter, who performed a sold out show at the Paradise Rock Club in March, will play Boston’s House of Blues on Wednesday, July 27. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $25 and $35.

Having already conquered her native England with the biggest and fastest selling debut album of 2010, Lights, Goulding is looking to make a similar splash in America with her electro-folk-pop sound. The album features singles “Under the Sheets”, “Starry Eyed”, “Guns and Horses” and “The Writer”.

“I’m not afraid of pop or electronic music,” Goulding said of the vibe of Lights in a press release, “but I also wanted the album to embrace my love for folk music, not just by my playing guitar on it, but by writing about things that have truly affected me. I wear my heart on my sleeve and am aware of how I’m feeling all the time, so it’s impossible for me to write words that are contrived or meaningless.”

Goulding, who performed at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Princess Catherine last month, is reportedly working on material for a her sophomore release due later this year.
