Ellie Goulding makes plans for stateside tour

Ellie Goulding has revealed plans for a stateside tour this spring. The outing will include the English singer’s biggest headlining Boston show to date with a show scheduled for Monday, March 17 at the Agganis Arena. Tickets for the St. Patrick’s Day show are available through Ticketmaster for $35 and $40.

Goulding continues to tour in support of 2012’s Halcyon. Released in October of 2012, the singer’s second studio effort follows her 2010 debut Lights. She worked with several producers on the album, including Jim Eliot, Starsmith, Billboard, Justin Parker, MONSTA, Madeon and Mike Spencer, as well as collaborated with artists such as Tinie Tempah and Calvin Harris. It features singles “Anything Could Happen”, “Figure 8” and “Explosions”.

In August, Goulding re-releaed an expanded version of the album titled Halcyon Days. The reissue is available in a standard 10-track album or a deluxe 28-track edition. Halcyon Days features collaborations with Madeon (“Stay Awake”), DJ Fresh (“Flashlight”), and Nate Ruess from fun., who wrote “Goodness Gracious” especially for Goulding. The release also includes Goulding’s cover of Alt-J’s “Tessellate.” Los Angeles hitmaker Greg Kurstin produced Halcyon Days‘ lead single “Burn,” which is streaming below.
