After a summer on the road with Kenny Chesney, the Eli Young Band have revealed plans to embark on a headline tour of their own. The rising country stars will make their way to Massachusetts and perform at Boston’s House of Blues on Friday, December 6. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $27 and $40.

“The Chesney Tour was an incredible experience and a really good time! Now its time to go out and do what we do best once again,” said lead vocalist Mike Eli in a press release. “It’ll be nice to blow the dust off of some of the old stuff!”

The Eli Young Band are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated follow-up to 2011’s Life at Best, which produced smash singles “Crazy Girl” and “Even If It Breaks Your Heart”. Fans can get a taste of the new material with the band’s brand new single “Drunk Last Night”, which is streaming below.

“’Drunk Last Night’ starts the next chapter for EYB,” explained bassist Jon Jones in a press release. “We loved our last record and we are lucky enough to have a song from that reach double platinum. We set the bar high on these next set of songs, no pun intended, and we are thrilled to release our first single from those sessions.”

The Eli Young Band has tapped songwriter and rising star Eric Paslay, who penned their hit “Even If It Breaks Your Heart”, to open all shows on the upcoming tour.
