After a successful outing last year, the Eagles have announced plans to reprise their “History of the Eagles” tour this year. The classic rock heroes will stop in Massachusetts for a performance at Boston’s TD Garden on Monday, September 15. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $53 to $189.50, will go on sale Monday at 11 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Currently comprised of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, fans can expect the Eagles to deliver a set packed with greatest hits and fan favorites. Hits from band members’ solo catalogues will also be featured during the show.

The tour takes its name from the “History of the Eagles” film released last April. Available in both DVD and Blu-ray formats, the three-disc set includes History of the Eagles – Part One and History of the Eagles – Part Two, as well as Eagles Live At The Capital Centre – March 1977, featuring performances from the Eagles’ two-night stand at Washington, D.C.’s Capital Center during their legendary “Hotel California” tour.

The acclaimed documentary gives fans an intimate look into the history of the band and the legacy of its music with rare archival material, concert footage, and never-before seen home movies that explore the evolution and enduring popularity of one of the classic rock icons.
