Duran Duran plot fall tour

Duran Duran have revealed plans to bring their “All You Need Is Now” tour back to the United States this fall. The classic synthpop rockers will visit Boston’s Citi Wang Theatre on Friday, October 28. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $47.50 to $125, will go on sale through Telecharge on Friday at 10 a.m. Neon Trees have been tapped to open the show.

Duran Duran is looking to get their tour back on track after lead singer Simon Le Bon’s contraction of laryngitis forced the band to cancel or reschedule most of their Europe shows. The band is touring in support of their new album, All You Need Is Now. Released last December through the band’s label Tapemodern, Duran Duran’s  thirteenth studio album and first independent release, was produced by Grammy Award-winning DJ Mark Ronson. “[Ronson] clearly had the right ear for melodies, he knows what makes a song work,” Le Bon said in an interview with The Quietus earlier this year. “He understands the emotional impact of musical movement. And he’s able to put that into words as well.”

In April, Duran Duran played an intimate club show for Boston fans at Royale.
