Duncan Sheik has revealed plans to return to the road this fall. The veteran singer-songwriter will make his way to Massachusetts for a show The Sinclair in Cambridge on Wednesday, November 21. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Alpha Rev and Courrier, are available through Ticketmaster for $25.

Sheik is set to release Covers 80s Remixed on his own Sneaky Records/MRI on November 6. For this new offering, Sheik created a remixed edition of his 2011 album Covers 80’s in which he reinterpreted the stand-alone pop songs from his teen years along with the synth-pop era’s classic and obscure songs. The album includes tracks by Depeche Mode, Thompson Twins, New Order, The Cure, Love and Rockets, The Smiths, Tears for Fears and more. For Covers 80s Remixed, Sheik enlisted Samantha Ronson, El-P, Gabriel & Dresden, Chico Mann, Terry Urban among others to decode these songs again. The album contains guest appearances from Holly Brook aka Skylar Grey and Rachael Yamagata.

The New Jersey-native, who won a Tony Award for his original score of Spring Awakening, is also currently working on stage productions of Brett Easton Ellis’ American Psycho and Hans Christian Andersen’s The Nightingale.
