David Nail has revealed plans to hit Boston on his upcoming tour. The rising country star will hit the Hub for a show at Royale on Saturday, September 29. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $22.

Yesterday, Nail released a 3-song EP called 1979 exclusively through iTunes!. The EP features a cover of Adele’s “Someone Like You” along with piano vocal versions of “The Sound Of A Million Dreams” and “Half Mile Hill”. The video for “Someone Like You” is streaming below.

“It’s hard to believe the life that ‘Someone Like You’ has taken on,” Nail said in a press release. “It’s proof that people hunger for great songs – and they are open to different interpretations of songs they love. I started singing it because it’s a great song to warm up with, and people who heard it liked it… and then, I guess, they told other people, who told other people.”

Nail continues to tour in support of his latest album, The Sound of a Million Dreams. Released last November, Nail’s sophomore studio effort follows his 2009 debut I’m About to Come Alive. Co-produced by Chuck Ainlay and Frank Liddell, the album features special guests Lee Ann Womack, Will Hoge and Sarah Buxton. The latter of which contributes vocals to lead single “Let It Rain”.
