David Byrne and St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) have extended their joint tour in support of their recent collaborative release, Love This Giant. The founding member of the Talking Heads and the longtime indie favorite will return to Massachusetts for a performance at the Zeiterion Theatre in New Bedford on Thursday, June 27. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $50 to $125, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website.

Love This Giant
debuted at #23 on the Billboard 200 after its release in September. The album was recorded over two years largely at Water Music in Hoboken, New Jersey with assistance from producers John Congleton and Patrick Dillett. In addition to splitting vocal duties, Byrne and Clark co-wrote ten of the album’s twelve tracks, along with one song they penned individually. Love This Giant features lead single “War”.

Byrne and Clark began collaborating after meeting in 2009 at the “Dark Was the Night” benefit at Radio City Music Hall. Shortly thereafter, they were approached by Housing Works Bookstore to perform together. Since then, they’ve had a professional relationship, allowing the two to share ideas and create a partnership that resulted in Love This Giant.

On the upcoming tour can expect a setlist comprised of material from Love This Giant, along with selections from each of their respective catalogues.
