David Bromberg and Loudon Wainwright III will join performances for special co-headlining performance in Massachusetts next month. The veteran singer-songwriters and their bands will perform at the Somerville Theatre on Thursday, June 14. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $34.50 and $37.50.

Bromberg continues to tour in support of his latest album, Use Me. Released last July, it features a plethora of collaborating artists and bands including Dr. John, Vince Gill, Levon Helm, John Hiatt, Keb’ Mo’, Tim O’Brien, Linda Ronstadt, Los Lobos, Widespread Panic, and the Butcher Bros. The album follows 2007’s Grammy Award nominated Try Me One More Time, which ended Bromberg’s recording hiatus of 17 years.

Wainwright will be promoting his brand new album, Older Than My Old Man Now. Released in April, it features contributions from all four of his children: Rufus and Martha Wainwright, Lucy Wainwright Roche and Lexie Kelly Wainwright, as well as two of their three mothers, Suzzy Roche and Ritamarie Kelly. Also included are recitations of passages written by Loudon Wainwright Jr., Loudon’s father and famous LIFE Magazine columnist, and a recording of “Over The Hill”, the only song Loudon co-wrote with his first wife, the late Kate McGarrigle.
