After wrapping up their 20th consecutive summer of touring, the Dave Matthews Band have revealed plans for a fall tour this November. The band will hit Boston for two nights at the TD Garden on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 9 and 10. Australia’s John Butler Trio will open both shows. Tickets, which are priced at $75 and $85, go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The band continues to tour in support of their most recent release, 2009’s Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. The platinum-certified selling album was nominated for two Grammy Awards this year – Album Of The Year and Best Rock Album. In December, the Dave Matthews Band released Europe 2009, a box set commemorating their tour overseas. The three-CD set, Live from Lucca, is a recording of the group’s July 5, 2009 show in Lucca, Italy. The DVD, “Across the Pond”, was filmed at the band’s performance at the O2 Academy Brixton in London, England on June 26, 2009.

Over the summer, the Dave Matthews Band announced they will not tour in the summer of 2011.
