Daryl Hall’s Live From Daryl’s House to hit the road

Daryl Hall, of Hall & Oates fame, will bring his popular web series Live From Daryl’s House to Boston’s House of Blues this spring. As part of a handful of live shows scheduled for the Northeast, Hall will perform with special guests Sharon Jones and Allen Stone at the Lansdowne Street club on Thursday, April 12. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $45.50 and $75.

Live From Daryl’s House, which started as a monthly web series in November of 2007, recently began airing on television. Locally, fans can catch the show on Saturdays at 10 p.m. on WBIN. This week’s episode will feature Mayer Hawthorne. Past episodes of Live from Daryl’s House have featured an eclectic mix of performers including Train, Guster, Grace Potter, Rob Thomas, Smokey Robinson, The Doors’ Robby Krieger and Ray Manzarek, Nick Lowe, K.T. Tunstall, Todd Rundgren, Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy, Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump, The Bacon Brothers, Jimmy Wayne, Chromeo, Eric Hutchinson, Company of Thieves, Fitz and the Tantrums, Matt Nathanson and many more.

Hall will also be promoting his latest album, Laughing Down Crying. Released in September, it marks his first solo release since 1996’s Can’t Stop Dreaming.
