Cut Copy to play the House of Blues

Cut Copy will hit the United States this spring for a North American tour in support of their new album, Zonoscope. The Australian synthpopsters will perform at Boston’sHouse of Blues on Monday, April 4. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Live Nation for $20 and $30. Opening the show will be Brooklyn’s Holy Ghost.

Zonoscope, the group’s third studio effort and first since 2008’s In Ghost Colours, was released last month.  It was recorded over a six month period in the suburbs of Melbourne and mixed in Atlanta by Ben H. Allen (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley). Lead single “Take Me Over”  has an earned comparisons to another Aussie band in Men at Work. Zonoscope has reached #2 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

Cut Copy fans can also check out a new mini documentary called “Artificial Interpreter” on the group below. The film, which was directed by Melbourne duo and close friends of the band Krozm, provides fans with an intimate look inside the making of Zonoscope.
