Corey Taylor has revealed plans for a special solo acoustic tour to close out the year. The Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman will make his way to Massachusetts for a show at the Middle East Downstairs in Cambridge on Sunday, December 4. Tickets for the show are now on sale through TicketWeb for $25.

On the upcoming tour, Taylor will perform material from both bands as well as spoken word and a Q&A session with fans. He’ll be promoting his brand new book, “Seven Deadly Sins: Settling the Argument Between Born Bad and Damaged Good”. Released in July, Taylor explains his view on each of the seven deadly sins and shares experiences he has had with them in the book.

“I’d been threatening to write a book for a long time, and I just went for it,” Taylor declared in a press release. “I think people are going to be really surprised, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Along with the Massachusetts show, Taylor will also perform at The Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on Wednesday, December 7. Tickets for the show are now on sale through eTix for $25.

Stone Sour’s last studio release was 2010’s Audio Secrecy, while Slipknot released All Hope Is Gone in 2008.
