Colin Hay to play the Somerville Theatre
Colin Hay has revealed plans for a spring tour in support of his forthcoming album, Gathering Mercury. The former lead vocalist for Men at Work, will stop in Massachusetts next month for a show at the Somerville Theatre on Sunday, April 17. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $28. The show is part of the World Music/CRASHarts series.
Gathering Mercury will drop in stores on March 29. The album follows his 2009 release, American Sunshine. As frontman and principal songwriter for ’80s sensation Men at Work, Hay is remembered for classic hits like “Down Under,” “Overkill” and “Who Can It Be Now?”. At the show, fans can expect a mix of new tunes along with the classics in a solo acoustic performance.
