Cold War Kids will hit the road next week for a winter tour in support of their brand new album, Mine Is Yours. The California-based rockers will make their way to Massachusetts for a show at the House of Blues in Boston on Tuesday, March 22. Tickets for the show are now on sale for $20 through Live Nation. Opening the show will be Baths.

Mine Is Yours, the band’s third studio effort and first since 2008’s Loyalty to Loyalty, was released on January 25. Produced by Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Tom Waits), the eleven song collection was recorded over a period of three months in Nashville, Tennessee and Los Angeles, California. With Mine Is Yours, lead singer Nathan Willett took a different approach to his songwriting by offering more intimate and personal lyrical content.

“I got home from tour and realized I was married,” Willett explained in a press release. “All my friends had either jumped in the deep end of a relationship or had drowned. When did things get so serious? We fought growing up but the wild nights and free-for-all caught up to us. Some people got out in time and others had permanent damage. For this record, I wrote about the joys and failures of commitment all around me.”
