Colbie Caillat has announced plans for a month-long tour to promote her latest EP, Gypsy Heart Side A. The California-bred singer-songwriter will make her way to New Hampshire for a performance a The Music Hall in Portsmouth on Monday, September 1. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $45 to $65, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through the venue’s box office and website.

Released last month as a surprise for her fans, Gypsy Heart Side A reached #5 on iTunes’ Overall Top Albums chart and topped the Top Pop Albums chart. The EP is comprised of five songs that will be included on Caillat’s forthcoming fourth full-length studio album Gypsy Heart due out later this year. Lead single “Try”, which was co-written by R&B legend by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, is streaming below.

“The reason I wanted to do the EP is because, right now, I think everyone’s attention spans are very short,” Caillat said in a recent interview with Billboard. “I think 12 songs is too much to listen to all at once. When I buy a record, I get to the fifth song, and then I don’t get to really hear the rest of the record. People can listen to the first five songs, fall in love with them, get to know them, and then a few months later, have the rest of the record available for download.”

She also said the new material was written and recorded over a two-year process, which included the completion of one album that was turned down by her label in hopes that she would find a “new sound” for her fourth album.

Caillat’s last full-length release was 2011’s All Of You.
