Childish Gambino maps spring tour

Childish Gambino, better known to most as Donald Glover, has revealed plans for a spring tour in support of his new album, because the internet. The rap star will bring his “The Deep Web” tour to Boston for a performance at the House of Blues on Sunday, March 30. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $35 and $49.50.

because the internet, Childish Gambino’s sophomore release and follow-up to 2011’s Camp, was released last month. It debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 and and topped Billboard’s Rap Albums chart. The video for lead single “3005” is streaming below.

Glover is currently starring in NBC’s “Community”, but will exit next month after just five episodes. He’s also developing a music-based comedy show tentatively titled “Atlanta” for FX.
