Carl Palmer makes plans for New England

Legendary percussionist Carl Palmer, a founding member of progressive rock group Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Asia, will bring his new power trio to New England this fall for a series of shows.

Fans in Massachusetts, can catch Palmer at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River on Saturday, October 22. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $48. He’ll also play the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire on Thursday, October 20. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $50 and $55.

Other New England shows include Infinity Hall in Norfolk, Connecticut on October 19 and the Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction, Vermont on October 21.

Joining Palmer onstage will be guitarist Paul Bielatowicz and bassist Simon Fitzpatrick. The band’s all-instrumental tour, billed as “Carl Palmer Celebrates the Music of ELP,” will showcase some of ELP’s finest pieces of music. Among the songs Palmer and co. are expected to perform are “Tarkus”, “Tocatta”, “Fanfare for the Common Man” and “Hoedown”.
