Cape Cod’s Naukabout Music Festival will return next month for its 5th annual show. The Ryan Montbleau Band will once again headline the festival, which will take place at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in Falmouth on Saturday, August 11. Continuing its tradition of promoting New England’s premier acts, this year’s bill will also feature John Brown’s Body, Adam Ezra Group, Dub Apocalypse, Dune Billy All-Stars and more.

Tickets for the day-long event can be purchased in advance through the festival’s website for $29 or at the gate on the day of the show for $33. Children under 12 will be admitted free with an adult. A portion of the proceeds from activities and concessions at The Naukabout will support the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod.

The Naukabout festival, which is presented by the Cape Cod-based clothing company of the same name, strives to bring together some of the best bands from New England’s best homegrown talent. The side stage at Naukabout, which will be solar-powered this year, will include sets by Will Evans from Barefoot Truth, Will Dailey, Tall Heights, the Jeff Conley Band and Baker Thomas Band featuring Danielle Miraglia. The festival will run from noon till 10. Beyond all the music, Naukabout will offer several family friendly activities, local artisans, food and more.

Montbleau, who holds the unique distinction of performing at each of the Naukabout festivals, is touring in support of his brand album, For Higher. Funded by fans through a Pledge Music campaign, the album features New Orleans superstars George Porter, Ivan Neville, Anders Osborne and Simon Lott.

“Over the first four years of the festival, The Naukabout has evolved into a celebration of the very best local and regional music,” said Jeff Conley, festival director and one of the artists performing onsite, in a press release. “This year’s festival will not only showcase great music but also provide the opportunity for other great artisans from the area to be represented. We are thrilled to strengthen our connections to the Cape community through our new partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Cape Cod.”
