Buffalo Tom have revealed plans for their 25th anniversary celebration next month. The beloved Boston band will perform an intimate three-night stand over Thanksgiving Day weekend at the Brighton Music Hall. Tickets for each of the shows, which will take place from November 25 through 27, are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $22. Special guests will be announced shortly.

Earlier this year, Buffalo Tom released their eighth studio album, Skins. Produced by the band and mixed by long-time friends Paul Q. Kolderie (who produced the band’s breakout third album, 1992’s Let Me Come Over) and Tom Polce, Skins is the follow up to 2007’s acclaimed Three Easy Pieces, which brought Buffalo Tom back into the spotlight after a nine-year hiatus. The new album is the first release on the band’s own Scrawny Records via a worldwide partnership with The Orchard, and features guest Tanya Donnelly of Breeders and Throwing Muses fame singing on the song “Don’t Forget Me”.

Formed in 1986, Buffalo Tom is comprised of guitarist Bill Janovitz, bassist Chris Colbourn and drummer Tom Maginnis. For more more on the band’s career, check out the video produced for the 2007 Boston Music Awards below.
